I was given the opportunity to run Road Atlanta with Global Time Attack and could use a bit of help.
I run 275/35/18 Continental Grand Am Cup slicks on my EVO. Problem is in unlimited class in GTA has some serious competition. In other words, cars making over 600+ WHP where I sit here 150ish down on power.
My only choice is to run R888, NT01, or Hankook TD's. Something around the 100UTQG treadwear mark to run limited AWD class.
Where can I find a set of scrubs or even new tires for next to nothing? Anything from 275/35/18 to 295/30/18.
Any help or any leads would be appreciated!

I would say check your local SCCA/NASA and other racing groups forums. I've seen people selling lightly/moderately used tires for pretty cheap.

I've been keeping an eye on all that. Sadly the large majority of people aren't running a size as wide as mine. :(
